Elizabeth Villagómez Morales

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics by the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana-Unidad Azcapotzalco (México, D.F. and has carried out postgraduate studies in the United Kingdom in the University of Warwick, in the area of Quantitative Economic Development. She received the Title of Doctor in Economic Sciences by the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares. Her thesis on the informal labour markets in Mexico received the second place of the Prize of Labour Investigation granted by the Labour Secretariat of Mexico and the Extraordinary Thesis Prize of the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares.
She has developed her professional activity as a lecturer and through applied investigation, mainly in the areas of Labour Economics, Gender, Social Policy and Discrimination. In 2001-2002 she worked as Adviser of Economic Governance for the United Nations Development Fund for Women, UNIFEM (now UN Women), in New York. She continued to work as an external consultant (Economic Adviser) for the UNIFEM office in Eastern Europe and as International Expert for other Un Women offices and other UN agencies (UNDP, UNFPA, ILO, IPU, etc.) in subjects related to social and economic rights, in particular of women. Elizabeth Villagómez has had an outstanding academic and research career, having used her knowledge to advance in the agenda of equality of opportunities, in particular between men and women.


Emma Oteo Antuñano

She holds a B.A in law by the Universidad de Navarra and is an Expert in Social Mediation and Resolution of Conflicts by the Universidad Complutense. Her professional experience has been mainly developed in managing European programs of local development and business support. Her work carried out in the design of methodologies of individualized itineraries of insertion for underprivileged groups has been a landmark in her professional career. Most important are the elaboration of the Draft Document of the regulating Decree of the companies of insertion in the Community of Madrid and the publication of the book "Social and professional orientation based on itineraries. A methodological proposal for intervention of people in risk of exclusion", of which she is co-author.

In Almenara Estudios she has been responsible for the evaluation of social integration programs, the qualitative analysis of the majority of the studies done by the company and of the implementation of studies and training tools in the area of conciliation of labour, family and personal life. At present, she also develops the introduction of new methodologies for the management of Human Resources in organizations.

Domingo Carbonell

He holds a Bachelor's degree in International Hospitality Management by the University of Wales, Cardiff. He speaks six languages and has developed his professional career between Europe, Africa and Latin America. He holds a Master in Social Communication in the Universidad Complutense of Madrid. In 2007 he took the UNED's postgraduate University Expert programme in planning and management of projects in the field of cooperation for development. In Almenara, in particular, he supports the basic investigation for all the projects related to international cooperation, social cohesion and gender and labour policies. He has collaborated in important projects, among others, by proving technical assistance to the European Commission in the implementation of the National Action Plans for Social Inclusion, an awareness study target to companies to fight gender stereotypes which was commissioned by the ILO and an investigation study which deepens in the characteristics and tendencies of communitarian citizens from the EU-15 countries, for the Permanent Observatory for Immigration. He is also in charge of the application of new technologies.


Marcela Toro Telias

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Humanities by the University of Chile and has studies in Publicity, Aesthetics and Literature; her professional career has been developed both in her home country as well as in Spain, where she has been residing for over a decade. Her professional experience has allowed her to work in the Public Administration, the private sector and the non-profit sector. She worked in Chile for the Ministry of the General Secretariat of Government, where she was in charge of high-profile institutional events. Later on she acquired responsibilities in the Public Relations Office of an international NGO devoted to childhood concerns. At her arrival in Spain she participated in the field of research and the publishing world tied to scientific fields. In Almenara, she develops her work in the Commercial and Quality areas. Her work in the area of Quality contributes to the follow-up of the production processes, the fulfilment of objectives and the accomplishment of the quality levels defined with the client for each project. She also participates in the design of the analysis tools as well as in obtaining the adequate samples for each study. In the Commercial area, she develops her work in the sale, communication and marketing areas.
